1. Copy
your counter code that was generated after creating your counter.
2. Start Dreamweaver and open the page(s) where you want to
add your counter.
3. On the top Dreamweaver menu select Window ->HTML
(alternatively you can press F10), now you should see a window
which contains the HTML of your webpage.
4. Click inside the dialog box where you want your counter
to display and Paste the counter code in the box. To paste
code you can use keyboard keys Ctrl (hold ctrl down) + V
or alternatively you can Right Click -> Paste.
5. Close the dialog box, Save your page and
publish to your webserver.
TIPS:
Right after Step 2 you can locate on your page where you want your counter to
display and type any text (abcd) then highlight it. Now press F10 and you should
see your 'abcd' highlighted in the dialog box which popped up.
Click inside the dialog box and highlight the text 'abcd' again, now use keys
Ctrl + V or Right Click -> Paste.
NOTES: To highlight
(select) text abcd click on the left side of letter 'a' and hold left mouse
button down while dragging cursor past the right side of letter 'd'.
